Warm, waterproof and dextrous. I've used these down to -10F and been toasty whether I'm ice climbing or skiing. Friends usually ask to borrow them and I'm getting a couple more pairs to have backups on multi day trips
Warmer than the old model. Nice work
Four years ago, I bought a pair of Free the Powder gloves as "factory seconds." They were a bargain, and were so warm and comfortable that I bought two pairs of the mittens almost as soon as they were available. I ski a lot, especially on storm days, and these mittens have kept my hands warm with a light glove liner even in sub-zero temperatures while exposed to the wind. They have also held up very well over the last two seasons--they are a bit softer, but show little wear. The removable liners are great, I never find them damp the next day if I take them out to air out overnight.
I have purchased various pairs for myself and family of SX Gloves, SX Mittens, and a pair of Spring Gloves. All have been great. I recently had a potential issue with my son's mittens. Nothing ended up being wrong with the mittens, but Free the Powder went way above and beyond in making sure the issue for my son was resolved. Great service from an amazing company. With a whole family of skiers/boarders I will keep buying gloves from Free the Powder.
Had an issue / question about Canada customs delay, on shipment. They emailed me back right away, and we"re very helpful.
Unisex sizing. Free the Powder Gloves
have a fairly standard initial fit, but our
gloves are made with all-stretchable
materials so they break-in and conform
to your hand like no other ski glove.
