Opening day at Park City Mountain Resort. Warm, dumping snow and really wet. Kind of a cluster with so many people and only a few runs of man-made snow, but much more extensive than previous years at the Canyons/Park West. The terrain for limited opening day was much better. Lots more vert off the Payday lift. It was great to get out and talk to people about Free the Powder. The number one question everyone asks is, "Where can I see this or get these in town?" And there is always equal confusion when I answer, "No one would return our inquiries." Huh? Local ski shops in Park City probably don't want a local company's $60 high quality glove hanging next to $120-$180 products with the same quality.
Oh well, eventually they will.
Skied with Micah, Jamie and Cutter. We shredded it! Big storm rolling in tonight. Hope it dumps.
