Skiing Formiguères, Pyrenees, France

Formiguères in the Pyrenees Mountains of southern France received 26 inches of new snow with a storm total of 33 inches. This often overlooked range, forms the southern boundary between Spain and France. The range rises to over 11,000 from sea level, making a spectacular big massif on the Earth. The Alps aren't the only game in Europe. Due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean it gets a lot of moisture, making the snow more plentiful than the Alps. And I went on my honeymoon their. Magical place!
